How to export your messages
Supported file types
- .txt WhatsApp chat export
- .zip WhatsApp export; a Slack workspace export, Teams data export, Google Chat (Takeout) or Discord data package; or an archive containing .eml, .json or .txt
- .eml a single email
- .mbox an email mailbox or folder
- .xml Android SMS Backup & Restore
- .csv / .tsv iMazing, LinkedIn, Viva Engage Messages.csv, a Teams Graph PowerShell export or a generic spreadsheet export
- .json Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, Snapchat, Slack, Teams (Graph), Skype or Teams Free messages.json, Google Chat, Discord or generic message JSON
- .html Telegram Desktop export in its default HTML format, or a .zip of the whole export folder
