What we set
Essential storage works without analytics consent. The two Google Analytics cookies listed below are optional and are used only after you allow analytics.

Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics measures visits and selected button clicks on seven generic public page types. Google Tag Manager delivers that configuration. Neither loads before your permission. We keep accounts, private case work, uploads, transcript searches, chat, forms, the demo, legal guides and export instructions outside this marketing measurement. We do not use advertising tags or Google Signals. We do not use fingerprinting to replace a rejected cookie choice. When you pay, you are taken to Stripe's own checkout page. Stripe's cookies on their pages are governed by Stripe's policy.
What about the demo page?
The in browser demo holds the chat you paste into it in your browser's local memory only. It is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, and it is cleared the moment you close the tab.
Managing cookies
Use Privacy choices below to check your saved decision or turn off analytics. This policy page can manage your choice without loading Google. To allow analytics later, use Privacy choices on a measured public page, such as our homepage. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using LegallyHeard.
Turning analytics off removes our analytics cookies and stops future collection in this browser, including other open LegallyHeard tabs when your browser permits the change to be saved. If storage is blocked, the control explains any limitation. Your choice is separate on each browser and device. Withdrawal does not automatically erase previously collected reports.
Your analytics choice expires after 180 days and visits do not renew it. When the consent controls next load without current permission, or you withdraw consent, they clear our remaining analytics cookies. Otherwise, cookies may remain until their browser expiry or until you clear them yourself. Your browser may apply a shorter cookie lifetime.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie will prevent logging in, since it is what identifies your login. Clearing your privacy choice means we ask again before loading analytics.
